Pre-Reservation and Payment Process

Pre-Reservation

The pre-reservation is made online by paying a percentage of the total rental amount, as indicated at the time of the request.

Available Payment Methods

  • Credit card (Stripe)

  • PayPal

  • Bank transfer
    The client must contact us in advance to obtain the banking details.
    The payment must be credited to our account before we can confirm the pre-reservation.
    Validation is manual and requires sending the payment receipt.
    Bank charges are the responsibility of the client. Only valid for bookings made at least one week in advance.


⚠️ Important

The pre-reservation is subject to review by our team and does not imply a confirmed booking.

To evaluate the request, the client must send all required documentation within 48 hours after completing the pre-reservation.

Availability is not guaranteed until:

  1. The documentation is received,

  2. The client’s profile is validated, and

  3. The reservation is confirmed by a team member.

Otherwise, the amount paid will be refunded
(Bank commissions may apply depending on the case).


Mandatory Documentation (48 h)

The client must submit the following documentation within 48 hours after making the pre-reservation:

  • Passport or ID

  • Reason for the stay

  • Brief personal description

For stays longer than 3 months:

  • Employment contract and last two payslips

  • University acceptance letter (if applicable)


Reservation Confirmation and Security Deposit

Once the client’s profile has been validated, the payment of a refundable security deposit will be requested, according to the length of the stay:

  • 1 month deposit: stays of 1 to 3 months

  • 2 months deposit: stays of 4 to 11 months

The reservation will be confirmed by email, including:

  • Apartment address

  • Conditions

  • Pending payments

  • Contact information for the check-in agent


The Contract

The rental contract must be signed digitally at the time the reservation is confirmed.

  • It establishes the rules of behavior within the apartment.

  • The person signing the contract will be responsible for all accompanying guests.

  • In case of non-compliance with the rules, Lodging Apartments reserves the right to request the immediate departure of the client.


Refundable Security Deposit

The deposit must be paid once the client’s profile has been validated and can be paid through:

  • Bank transfer: charges are the responsibility of the client

  • Credit card (Stripe): additional 3.5% fee, also paid by the client

The exact amount of the deposit will depend on the apartment selected.

The deposit will be refunded by bank transfer:

  • Approximately 30 days after check-out

  • Up to 60 days for stays longer than 3 months

  • Provided that no damages or incidents have been detected


Payment of the Remaining Rental Amount

The remaining balance can be paid through:

  • Online (Stripe): additional 3.5% fee

  • Bank transfer: the amount must be credited before the check-in date.
    Bank charges are the responsibility of the client.


Cleaning

  • The final cleaning service is included in the quotation and is performed after check-out.

  • The client must leave the apartment tidy, with clean dishes and the trash removed.

  • For stays longer than 2 months, one monthly cleaning with linen change is included.

  • Additional linen or towel changes: 30 €.


Check-in and Check-out

  • Check-in: From 3:00 PM

  • Late check-in: Additional fee between 30 € and 60 €, depending on day and time

  • Check-out: Until 11:00 AM

Key handover, pending payments, and entry conditions will be coordinated by email prior to arrival.


Cancellation Policy

  • More than 30 days in advance:100% refund

  • Between 15 and 30 days in advance:50% refund

  • Less than 15 days: no refund

Date changes are subject to availability and must be requested at least 30 days in advance.
If requested with less notice, a penalty may apply.


Legal Responsibilities

  • Neither Lodging Apartments nor the property owner is responsible for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the apartment, including fires, thefts, losses, or other incidents.

  • Lodging Apartments is not responsible for potential errors or omissions in the information published on its website.

  • Lodging reserves the right to modify apartment details at any time, including prices, descriptions, and photographs.

  • Lodging may update these terms of use at any time according to business needs.

  • Users are responsible for reviewing the most recent version of the terms on the website.

The use of Lodging services implies full acceptance of these terms.
