The majestic Sagrada Familia (if you are planning on visiting it, remember to book your ticket in advance online), the elegant Passeig de Gràcia with its shops and the flagship buildings of Modernism, the central Plaça Catalunya right next to the world-famous Ramblas. And just around the corner, the youthful and lively Gràcia neighbourhood, a little secret in the form of pedestrian streets and charming squares that are home to everything: cinemas, restaurants, bars and craft shops.

Though everything’s within easy reach on foot, you can hop on a bus, tram or the metro and go further afield.
