Barceloneta Suite 1 apartments
Welcome to Kronos on the Beach, a historic building situated just 50 metres from the beach. One of the city's listed buildings, it has been completely refurbished using high-quality materials and in line with the latest trends in sustainable architecture.
This is your apartment:
A lift with direct entry. Stylish, newly refurbished and featuring exclusive flooring and furniture, the apartment is filled with natural light throughout the day and has two double rooms with views, two complete bathrooms, a fully equipped designer kitchen and a gorgeous lounge with a balcony offering views of the sea. There are three other balconies in the apartment, not to mention a safe, security cameras, security doors, an intruder alarm and smoke detectors connected to the main office 24/7.
If you decide to go to the beach, then get ready to enjoy the old seaside district of La Barceloneta, now one of the city's most dynamic and cosmopolitan neighbourhoods. Picture yourself swimming, taking a paddleboarding class, playing with your children on the sand, jogging on the shores of the Mediterranean or just enjoying the diverse cuisine of a district that is especially well known for its rice and fish dishes and its myriad bars.
The city centre is just a ten-minute walk away if your plan is to go sightseeing. Waiting for you there are Barcelona’s most iconic districts, buildings and monuments: the Barrio Gótico, El Raval, Plaza Catalunya and the Paseo de Gracia, to name but a few.
The apartment enjoys excellent transport links with the airport and is well served by public transport. The Hospital del Mar is only 500 metres away and Barceloneta market, which opened in 1884, is also close by. Do your shopping there and you’ll feel like a true local. It’s well worth a visit.

What to do?
Enjoy the extra space!
Barcelona is quieter these days, with fewer places open for business. However, it's still beautiful and vibrant, with plenty to enjoy outdoors and lots of experiences waiting for you in the city.
Don’t worry about shopping for groceries!
Every neighborhood in Barcelona has a market selling local produce (only open in the mornings) and well-stocked supermarkets like Mercadona, Sorli, Lidl and Bonpreu, which you’ll find just around the corner from your flat. So get out and grab some fresh local produce and put our fully equipped kitchen to good use by preparing a delicious meal.
Your safety is our priority!
While every professional company cleans their short-term rentals thoroughly between stays, these challenging times require special measures. Rest assured we’re taking additional precautions to disinfect properties and prevent the spread of coronavirus. We keep right up to date with the latest protocols issued by global health organizations (including the ECDC and the World Health Organization) and have a system in place called “COVID-19 Disinfection Checklist for short-term rental disinfection”. Bed linen and towels are cleaned professionally after each guest checks out, in line with the same guidelines and by the same team. We leave nothing to chance, because your safety is what matters most to us.
Speaking of your safety
Masks, gloves, and disinfectants are widely available in Barcelona in most shops and department stores and at any pharmacy (you’ll always find one open). We’ll leave some soap and hand sanitizer in the apartment for you too.
Travelling by car?
If you’re planning on driving to Barcelona, rest assured we’ll help you park your car safely. We typically recommend booking your parking spot in advance online and we offer a discount via Parclick.
Is this a work trip?
Our apartments are equipped with reliable, fiber-optic WI-FI and offer a very comfortable homeworking set-up – well, as comfortable as working from home can be!
