What could be better than spending a few days by the sea in Barcelona?
Welcome to La Barceloneta, Barcelona’s seaside neighborhood.
Your studio apartment is waiting for you here, everything you need in a unique, stylishly refurbished, welcoming and light-filled space.
On your right when you walk in is a bathroom with a shower, and a lovely open-plan kitchen with a dining table and everything you need to knock up a meal if you don’t fancy going out. On the other side lies the sleeping area, complete with a comfortable double bed, and a small balcony from which you can lean over and take in the narrow little streets of La Barceloneta. The apartment is on the fifth floor in a building without an elevator!
Once you’ve settled in, all you have to do is decide whether to head downtown or go to the beach.
If the beach is the plan, then picture yourself swimming, doing a paddleboard or SUP yoga course, running on the shores of the Mediterranean, or just sampling the varied cuisine of a neighbourhood known for its rice and fish dishes and its lively bars.
If you’d prefer to explore Barcelona, then it’s a short, ten-minute walk to the city centre and its most iconic districts, buildings and monuments, among them the Gothic Quarter, Raval, Plaza Catalunya, and Paseo de Gracia.
The apartment is well connected to the airport and well served by local transport. The Hospital del Mar is just 500 metres away, and La Barceloneta Market is also close by. A typical neighbourhood market, it opened in 1884. Shop here and you’ll be one of the locals. It’s well worth a visit.
Don’t forget that you’ll have the support of the Lodging team. We’re just a phone call away, 24/7.
We’re ready and waiting to welcome you. And so’s your apartment. When can we expect you?

TRAVELING BY CAR?
If you’re planning on driving to Barcelona, rest assured we’ll help you park your car safely. We typically recommend booking your parking spot in advance online via Parclick.
In order to protect air quality and public health, traffic in Barcelona has been restricted from 1 January 2020. Therefore, the most polluting vehicles will not be allowed to circulate on working days, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. Please enter the number plate of your vehicle to find out if it can circulate freely in Barcelonahere.
Vehicles registered outside Spain are not classified according to the environmental criteria of the Spanish Traffic Authority DGT. For this reason, all foreign vehicles must be registered before they can drive in the low emission zones. Applications can be made to include any kind of foreign-registered vehicle in the Register of Authorisations.

House rules
Welcome to Barcelona! We are delighted to have you with us and hope you have an amazing time at our apartment. To make sure your trip goes smoothly, here are some basic ground rules that we kindly ask you to follow.
Please take the neighbours into consideration
We would appreciate it if you could keep any noise to a minimum after 10pm (so no parties or loud music, please) and to avoid letting doors slam shut or making too much noise when
entering and leaving the building. Your holiday is important to us, but so is the well-being of your neighbours, who still need to go about their everyday lives in peace and tranquility. Any guests who cause a disturbance by hosting a party or such like will be asked to leave the apartment immediately (no refund will be made in such circumstances). Please also be aware that you are not allowed to have more guests staying at the apartment than indicated in your reservation.
Keys and check-out
Please do not leave the keys in the mailbox when vacating the apartment. If you leave earlier than your check-out time, please leave the keys on the table and pull the door shut behind you. The doors to most of our apartments do not need to be locked when you leave, which makes it very easy for you to lock yourself out. To avoid this, make sure you keep the key with you whenever you leave the apartment and lock the door yourself.
No smoking!
Smoking is not allowed in the apartment. If you have to smoke, please go outside.
Save energy
We kindly ask you to please turn the lights and air conditioning units OFF whenever you leave the apartment.
Extras
Additional cleaning, bedding, etc. can be arranged for longer stays. Please request this when making your booking.
Tourist tax
The government of Catalunya now levies a tourist tax of €5.50 per person over the age of 16 per night, over a maximum of seven days. The tax helps pay for clean beaches, well-maintained roads and excellent facilities.
