Did you know that there is more than one Rambla in Barcelona? While there is unquestionably none more famous than the one found in the centre of Barcelona, the district of Poblenou has its very own Rambla boulevard too.

With its modernista buildings,restaurants and shops, it is the beating heart of this traditional neighbourhood.

This welcoming apartment, with its brick walls and bare wooden beams, lies just off the Rambla.

Painted white, filled with light and newly renovated, it has a little terrace that you will just love and where there’s more than enough space to sit and have breakfast, lunch and dinner beneath the Barcelona sky.

In the lounge area you’ll find two comfortable sofas and a small coffee table. The dining table links the lounge area and kitchen, which is open-plan and functional and has everything you need to make a lovely meal if you’re staying in.

Accessible from the lounge, the bathroom has a large shower. At the other end of the apartment you'll find the bedroom, which is semi open-plan and has a double bed and a small balcony.

The apartment is superbly situated between the Rambla de Poblenou and the pedestrianised Calle Marià Aguiló, which is lined with restaurants, delicatessens and small independent stores.

Foodies will be spoilt for choice, with coffee roasteries, vegan restaurants, local and international cuisine, horchata and ice-cream parlours, and artisan bakeries all nearby.

And best of all, the beach is just a 10-minute walk away. Here you can watch the sun come up, play sports, relax in a hammock under a beach parasol and grab a bite to eat at a beach bar.

When it comes to exploring other parts of the city, you’re very well served by public transport and there are excellent links to the airport.
