The bare brick walls and high Catalan-vault ceilings are a reminder that we are in a building that dates to the 1800s. The lounge boasts a comfortable sofa and stunning solid wood dining table, while its walls feature some truly original décor: a mural, the flowers on the wall and the bright green tiles that contrast with the kitchen’s white modern, minimalism. Its island will delight the chefs among you.

There’s more than one surprise in store on the balcony: aside from the monkeys that welcome you, there are also majestic views of the Pla de Palau, the market square of medieval Barcelona and a gateway for everything that arrived in the city from the sea.

Follow the hallway and you come to the stylish bathroom and its spacious shower. Next up is the single bedroom with its charming decorative touches and a small desk, just in case you’ve got no option but to work during your stay.

Finally, there’s the large double room with king-size bed and TV, which you might want to turn on for the news or even a film before you nod off for the night.

And what can we tell you about the location? Surrounded by the medieval streets of El Born and looking out to Barceloneta and the sea, there are few parts of Barcelona as ideally situated as this.

Our recommendations? Eat on the terrace at Sagás, which is right next door. All the meat in its sandwiches come from its farm in the little village of the same name. You can also try the terrace at El Pasadís del Pep, a well-known restaurant. If ice-cream is your thing, Gocce di Latte serves up the very best in Barcelona. Just a minute away lies the Basílica de Santa María del Mar. Climb up to its terraces and you’ll be rewarded with some wonderful views (one of the city's best-kept secrets).You can also stroll along El Passeig del Born and check out the Centro Cultural to find out more about the history of Catalunya.

Legal Requirements and Security Deposit (Law 11/2025 and Law 13/1996)
Mandatory Security Deposit: In accordance with current legislation, we are required to request a security deposit proportional to the stay (based on 2 months for 12-month contracts).

Management and Deposit: This security deposit will be deposited with INCASÒL (the competent official body). Payment will be processed securely through the Airbnb Resolution Center once the reservation is confirmed.

Refund: The refund will be issued via bank transfer after checkout, once the condition of the apartment and compliance with contractual obligations have been verified. Due to INCASÒL's administrative processing times, the refund may take between 1 and 2 months.

Rental Contract: A seasonal contract for leisure, recreational use, or vacation will be signed with the property owner. For this purpose, we will request, among others: proof of habitual residence, flight information, identity documents, documentation proving the vacation, leisure, or recreational purpose, and a sworn statement justifying the leisure purpose of the trip.
