The building where Barcelona Pescador is located, is a typical dwelling resulting from dividing the original 120m2 apartments, built in the 18th century, into four smaller apartments, each of 30m2 and locally called Quart de Casa (literally a quarter of a house), in order to accommodate more fishing families.

Barceloneta Pescadors awaits you with its cosy little living room with a kitchen corner, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower—all recently renovated, perfectly equipped, well-designed, and very practical.

Another characteristic of this neighbourhood is that the buildings, being very narrow, do not have an elevator. The reason they were designed this way was practical and intelligent: to allow the main rooms to be open to the main street (something not so common in the rest of the city).

So please note that, although the address states that Barceloneta Pescador is on the 2nd floor, it is actually a real 3rd floor with no elevator.

When you step out onto the street, get ready to enjoy the old maritime neighbourhood of La Barceloneta, a district that has transformed into one of the most dynamic and cosmopolitan areas.

Imagine swimming in the sea, taking a paddle surfing course, running along the shores of the Mediterranean, or simply enjoying the varied gastronomic offerings of the area, especially known for its rice dishes, fish, and its variety of bars to have a a vermouth at noon or a tapa at night.

The apartment is very well connected to the airport and public transport. The Hospital del Mar is 500m away and you have the Mercat de la Barceloneta very close by, a typical local market inaugurated in 1884 where you can go shopping like a true Barcelona resident. It's worth it.

Legal Requirements and Security Deposit (Law 11/2025 and Law 13/1996)
Mandatory Security Deposit: In accordance with current legislation, we are required to request a security deposit proportional to the stay (based on 2 months for 12-month contracts).

Management and Deposit: This security deposit will be deposited with INCASÒL (the competent official body). Payment will be processed securely through the Airbnb Resolution Center once the reservation is confirmed.

Refund: The refund will be issued via bank transfer after checkout, once the condition of the apartment and compliance with contractual obligations have been verified. Due to INCASÒL's administrative processing times, the refund may take between 1 and 2 months.

Rental Contract: A seasonal contract for leisure, recreational use, or vacation will be signed with the property owner. For this purpose, we will request, among others: proof of habitual residence, flight information, identity documents, documentation proving the vacation, leisure, or recreational purpose, and a sworn statement justifying the leisure purpose of the trip.
