Barceloneta Gines Apartment

The place was exceptional. It is small, but all apartments in La Barceloneta are small. Location: The proximity to the beach is 3min walk aswell as the small distance to walk into the centre. La Barceloneta can be busy during the day with tourists, but in the evening becomes quite with locals. The street itself is nicely residential so you'll feel like a local the moment you arrive. You are close enough to the hub without having in crowds and noise of tourists day and night on your door step. There are fantastic bars, restaurants, break shops fresh fruit shops within 2 mins walk. Apartment: Perfectly laid out with ample space for 2. Kitchen thats has enough utensils to cook and space for it. A nice sofa in the odd event you decide to spend an evening inside. Beds are queen and comfortable. Enough linen provided and extra can be requested. Letting agents: Fantastic. Polite, responsive and incredibly helpful even with unrelated things. I didnt want to leave and hope to be back!

Apartment is really nice, clean & comfortable for a couple with little baby. It's located on 3 floor with lift. Neighbors are nice and Barceloneta is really safe. Apartment is really close to the beach, supermarket & local food market. Communication with Lodging Apartments is easy and they are responsive. There were some minor points that were a surprise but they were resolved and they are worth mentioning: 1. When we arrived baby bed was not in the apartment as promised and we had to contact them to arrange - they provided it same evening. 2. When receiving keys I was presented with several pages contract with Lodging Apartments which I had to sign. It was a surprise as there was nothing mentioned about that in AirBnB offer when we booked it and neither did they informed us about it after booking. This should have been communicated earlier and contract sent earlier as not everyone may understand legal wording during check-in. Overall I highly recommend this place and landlord.
