Frequent Questions and Andswers

1- Use our apartment browser. This is simple: enter the arrival and departure date and the number of persons. We will show you the available apartments which match your search criteria.
 
2- Select the apartment you prefer from the list. Here you will find all the information you need to help you find the appropriate apartment for your needs: photos of the different rooms, location map, the most important amenities, comments from previous guests, and details of prices.
 
3- Reserve your apartment. In order to confirm your reservation you are requested to pay a percentage of between 20% and 50% of the total, depending on the city. The rest will be paid in cash during check-in. For some apartments guests are able to pay the outstanding fee by credit card, at a cost of 2% extra. Please consult our team for details in advance. In addition to the deposit we ask you to fill out your personal details and to select your preferred method of payment :
• Credit card: This is the easiest, quickest and safest method. The reservation is made automatically and without delay.
• Paypal: There is no need to register and it is also quick and safe because the reservation is confirmed automatically.
• Bank transfer: We will send you an email with detailed instructions explaining how to make the transfer. The reservation will be confirmed as soon as you send us an email with a bank slip showing proof of transfer.
 
4- Keep the confirmation email. As soon as you have made the reservation you will receive an email with the confirmation. It is important to bring this with you because it provides details of all the information you need to gain access to the apartment or to make any enquiry: the exact address of the apartment, the telephone number of the person due to welcome you, information of how to make the outstanding payment, etc.

Check-in is from 15:00 hours.

If your flight arrives before the check-in time, we offer you the possibility to store your luggage in our office. Contact us to find out if you can leave your luggage in the apartment before check in or in our office.

We can let you access before the established time, only if the apartment is free and ready, but we will not be able to confirm it until the day of arrival for logistical reasons.

Departure time from the apartment is until 11:00 am.

Before leaving the apartment, please close all doors and windows, turn off all lights and electrical appliances, remove garbage, leave the keys on the living room table and make sure the front door is properly closed behind you.

The payment corresponding to the reservation will not be refunded in any case.
Date changes to a reservation are allowed to add days before or after the reserved date, only if available. Days booked 1 month prior to the arrival date may also be reduced. In this case the proportional amount of the reservation already paid will not be refunded.
In the event that the apartment you have booked is not available due to unforeseen circumstances that we could not solve, we reserve the right to accommodate you in another apartment of similar or even superior characteristics. In this sense, both parties are authorized to cancel the contract, in which case, we will refund the amount paid (except for the days you have been staying in the apartment, if any).

Lodging Apartments will not take any responsibility for claims or demands that you as a client could make later on.

As is the case with any type of rental we also request a security deposit which is wholly refundable.
This can vary between 200 and 500 euros depending on the apartment selected. In the case of rentals of more than one month the deposit can vary between 100% and 200% of one month’s rental.
For stays less than 1 month, the deposit will be refunded after check-out once the apartment has been checked. It may take between from 1 to 10 days depending on the method of payment selected.
 
Credit card: This works simply as a “block” and not as a charge. The refund or unblocking of the appropriate amount may take between 3 and 5 days or may be unblocked automatically after 15 days. This is the easiest, quickest and most secure method.
 
Cash: You may also pay the refundable deposit in cash when you check in. However you will have to make an additional payment for a check-out service so we can check the state of the apartment at the exact time you leave the apartment. The check-out charges are the same as those for check-in. (Link/pop up con tarifas check in)
 
A further option is to request the deposit to be refunded by bank transfer. Transfer times and charges are entirely dependent on the bank.
Important: The functioning of the refundable deposit explained above applies to the majority of the apartments. Nevertheless it is extremely important to check the individual terms and conditions of each apartment, together with all the rest of the information relating to amenities and specific conditions.

You will find a clean and tidy space upon arrival.
The rental of an apartment always includes a final cleaning service that is done the day of your departure from the apartment and before the entrance of the next visitors. The amount of the final cleaning depends on each apartment and is always detailed in the information sheet of each one.

Extra cleaning: You can request it through our staff. The amount is the same as the amount already included in the rental. You can check it in the price breakdown before making the reservation or in the confirmation of the reservation that we send you by e-mail.
Contact us 48 hours in advance to find out the possibility of scheduling the extra cleaning, according to the availability of the cleaning team.

Cleaning when leaving an apartment: Although you will not have to clean it completely, we do require that all dirty dishes are washed and garbage is collected and deposited in the appropriate containers outside the apartment.
Failure to comply with these points would oblige us to deduct from the deposit the amount corresponding to a cleaning.

Cleaning for stays of 15 days or more and for monthly rentals: it is essential to request an extra cleaning every 15 days for maintenance and change of sheets. The rate depends on the contracted apartment and is always detailed in the corresponding apartment file.

Yes, all apartments have one set of towels per person, bed linen and toilet paper.
Yes, as of 2012, the local authorities charge a tourist tax to all visitors to Catalonia over 16 years of age. The tax is 2.48 euros per person / day. It is charged for a maximum of 7 days. The tourist tax must be paid to the member who checks you in to the apartment.
Some apartments have a parking space as detailed in the description, but others do not: we advise you to consult the parkclik.es application to find out the best options and availability near your apartment.
